Closing the books on the 2nd Annual Wilmot Warrior Weekend and looking ahead to 2025!

Top fundraisers, sponsors, committee members, and Wilmot and university leadership gathered to celebrate the success of this year’s event and to present a check to Wilmot director, Dr. Jonathan Friedberg.
In addition to recognizing our top corporate team, Team Tompkins, our top university team, Cure Moore Cancer-WCC7, and our top friends and family, overall team, and top individual fundraiser, Team Marty and their captain, Cyndi Lembo, the 2nd Wilmot Warrior Award was presented. This award is given to someone who embodies the spirit of our event and helps us make an impact towards our mission. This year’s recipient, Sue Powers, continuously demonstrates the true meaning of commitment and support of Wilmot! She is a valued committee member, one of our top fundraisers every year, and a key volunteer who always goes above and beyond what is asked of her.
We are excited to build on this year’s half a million dollar event, and if you are interested in getting more involved, please contact WarriorWeekend@rochester.edu.
Together, we can leave cancer in the dust!
