Registration Opens at Wilmot Warrior Weekend Launch Party

Excitement was in the air when more than 70 people gathered to launch the 2nd Annual Wilmot Warrior Weekend on Wednesday, April 17. Participants heard from Jonathan Friedberg, MD, MMSc., director of Wilmot Cancer Institute, on the power of this community, and Brian Altman, Ph.D., one of the lead researchers for the first-ever Warrior Weekend Team Science Award. Ralph Olney, a Warrior Weekend and ambassador and long-time top fundraiser, shared his story and challenged other teams to knock him off the top of the leaderboard.

A new location, Xerox in Webster, and offering the ride, walk, and run on the same day, Sunday, September 22, will create an incredible atmosphere for participants, and with four ride options, a 1-mile walk, 5K run/walk, and many volunteer opportunities there is something for everyone!
